For most patients, the admissions process begins at the Patient Registration Department. Bluefield Regional Medical Center requires demographic and financial information, as well as general consent and insurance authorizations, for all patients. Upon your arrival to the Patient Registration Department, please remember to bring:
Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when registering for services.
Outpatient Services
Go to the right of the hospital and on your left is Outpatient Services. This area is open Monday – Friday 5:00 am – 5:00 pm.

After hours, register at the Emergency Registration. This area is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A convenient way for scheduled patients to pre-register for outpatient services is through the pre-registration process, which enables patients to pre-register online or over the phone rather than coming to the hospital prior to a scheduled appointment.
Please remember to bring your insurance card and physician’s order along with picture ID on the day of your appointment and stop by the registration department to complete the paperwork.
